The Lobstars are the citizens of Lobsteropolis, the largest art world in Decentraland. We'll continue to build upon Lobsteropolis in Decentraland, develop Lobster Robotics, collaborate with other projects, and develop the world in more physical and digital spaces.

The Lobstars is a collection of 7777 lobster portraits by British contemporary artist, Philip Colbert, often referred to as the godson of Andy Warhol. He and his lobster character are world renowned and have exhibited in galleries across the globe. Colbert has collaborated with luxury brands such as Bentley Motors, Rolex, MontBlanc, Christian Louboutin, COMME des GARONS and Adidas. Each Lobstar token will come complete with a passport ID for Lobsteropolis. The Lobstars will fund research on the Lobster species, support 1 Lobster released in the wild per NFT minted, develop Lobster Robotics with the UCL Robotics lab, and continue to collaborate with other incredible brands and NFT projects, as well activate his beautiful Lobster artwork in more physical and digital spaces.

A Fog-ring drifting into infinity has been captured in a video symbolizing A.A.Murakami"s Mataverse installation at NFT Paris, 2023, "The Passage of Ra," where they continue to pioneer Ephemeral Tech.

"The Passage of Ra" will be forever captured in an 12-minute generative art video, which will be sold in 1-minute segments on MakersPlace in March 2023. 

Owners of this open edition will be entered for a chance to win an NFT from "The Passage of Ra," valued at $10,000. Each OE purchase equals one entry. Multiple purchases will increase your chance of winning (Raffle snapshot at 9:00AM PST, Tuesday, March 7.)

Initially worn by miners and cowboys, roughly half of the worlds population wears denim on a given day, and the range of styles isliterallyendless. A new pair of jeans might be acid bleached, sandblasted, stonewashed, or tie-dyed; it can have hand-sanded rips and tears, followed by visible mendings, patches, intentional paint stains, and more. In an epic attempt to crack the genetic code of denim, Jenim playfully but carefully observes and translates the warp and weft of denim into generative code, weaving unique iterations of irregular, distorted, or hyper-realistic textile crops.

Ironically, imitating aging, a pair of jeans produced today generates more pollution and labor than most average garments. In response, Jenims minted iterations go beyond wearables and into infinity. Each year that passes, the color might fade slightly; the rips might expand. Who knows what these artworks will look like ten or even fifty years from now?
