How would you design an album if every track was meant to change?
 
Altered is the first audio visual Music Blueprints project that explores the concept of a non-concrete album. Created with 30+ collaborators and over 6600 possible unique combinations derived from 11 songs, Altered is one step further into an immersive and surreal album experience with every mint. 
 
Each song generated finds Ricky Lake in a new dreamlike environment comprised of visual elements, created by Wables using dall*e, and representing his collaborators. This includes the possibility for different producers, features, bass lines, drum patterns, genres, remixes, audio effects, and more, all represented uniquely and often.
 
The unique combo count also includes 8 Legendaries featuring 3D rendered artwork by XD.rar

In the Leaves

I wrote "In the Leaves" about a dream I had before I decided to quit my stable, full-time design job.

In the dream I kept waking up outside  on the sidewalk in San Francisco, and later in the leaves by a road. I kept choosing that over my bed, and it felt surprisingly calm to wake up outside of my home.

I had a session with Benji Cormack and we talked about this dream and how it seemed to mirror my life choice of staying in the comfort of a full-time job or leaving to focus on music and being satisfied with less.

I quit the job and now I"ve put out the song.

"I"m waking in the leaves again
Under street signs, never needed more.
Mapping out the turns I take
When I sleepwalk, why"s it feel like home?"

LOVE IS THE ROADMAP. 4850 HAND PAINTED, ORGANICALLY GENERATED NFTS Inspired by Ali Sabets first trip with his family to Tokyo at a very young age in the 1980s during the street punk movement. Seeing real Punks on the streets of Tokyo fundamentally changed the way I see color, shape and form. The wild mohawk wearing punks were something out of this world. The clothing, the vibrant colors, leather and spikes!! These images were seared in my brain for the rest of my life. Sabet
