February 21st marks 30 years around the sun. Today, in celebration, I am minting my first Open Edition from an evening spent at one of the most gorgeous waterfalls Ive ever laid my eyes on. Helmcken Falls in British Columbia is Canadas fourth largest waterfall. During the summer of 2021, I took off on a 45-day (20,000km+) road trip living in my SUV as I drove across Canada. After over a week of straight driving from Ontario to BC, I got to this location on the other side of the country. When I arrived a thick mist filled the air, I sat there in awe for hours listening to the roaring echo through the valley as the days last light faded. Witnessing the power and beauty as it slowly carves out the land below is amazing. It was incredible being out there and seeing day turn to night as the stars filled the sky and danced with the Milky Way as it slowly drifted above. An experience Ill never forget hearing the rushing waters and watching this scenery transform throughout the hours of the night. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for looking!

Banff: The Negative and Positive

Lake Louise is a sight to behold in Banff, yet eventually, as the glaciers melt, its beauty may one day disappear. Standing at the ready is a lone Indian, trying to protect the beauty from those who are destroying it.

Protecting #1/16

In the negative, the skies will appear to be on fire while the water becomes a lake of blood. A lone, Indian stands, trying to protect any beauty that may be left. 

The World is Burning #1/16

Whitebark pine trees are an essential part of the ecosystem around Banff, as the stand tall, stretching towards the sun.

Standing Tall #1/16

While it may seem negative to some, the whitebark pine rises tall as the greens turn to purple, reaching for the sky of darkness.
