Produced in concert with Seed Club and Metalabel, the process of assembling the issue was itself a radical experiment in co-creation. AIV1 was the first AI audiovisual composition self-released by Portrait XO, the first single off her upcoming AI album WIRE; a co-creation between the artist and her AI "other" self. In collaboration with neural synthesis expert CJ Carr (Dadabots), one hour of her vocals were fed into a neural network that generated ten hours of new audio. The polyrhythmic beats exemplify the glitchy sounds of her voice. The result as an entire body of work is WIRE, a first of its kind NFT to Vinyl released on polygon music marketplace twelve x twelve. The visuals of this video were created using 2 AI models: 1. Lucid Sonic Dreams and 2. Text-to-image VQGAN + CLIP (Video) via pollinations.ai
