Bomb Story: Although The Hundreds started off as a mens brand, early on, there was a sister line called TENS that shared the same inspiration and aesthetic. Madam was the TENS brand mascot and borrowed the same colors and styling of Adam, but reflected the strong and charismatic women that surrounded us in streetwear. Unfortunately, TENS only lasted a few seasons, but Madam was intermittently brought back into The Hundreds world, recently making a cameo in the 2021 Adam Bomb collection. Today, she holds it down as an on/off-again love interest for Adam and a good and loyal friend to the Adam Bomb Squad. The Pure Madam is the classic Madam Bomb logo imagined in a number of The Hundreds-approved colorways, pulled directly from our base palette. Unlike most of the other art in the ABS collection, this NFT features the only Madam Bomb that is colored up in these tones. | Background Story: 
Originating in Scotland as ""tartan,"" we now call this pattern of crisscrossed lines ""Plaid."" Growing up in Southern California during the "80s and "90s, plaid beach volleyball shorts were always in our purview, thanks to labels like Mossimo and Stssy. When we elevated to making cut-n-sew apparel like button-ups in the early 2000s, plaids made their way into our language as a nod to both the surf culture of the West Coast and Polo"s influence on the East. In fact, every plaid speaks to a different subculture. Buffalo plaids were woven into the early New York hip-hop lumberjacks. Shadow plaids on swap meet Pendletons. And The Hundreds plaids, for all.

Bobby Hundreds illustrated a cartoony Adam Bomb with an anxious, expectant face, based off of The Hundreds logo at the time, an iconic silhouette called Solid Bomb. Over the years, Adam Bomb blanketed the world, proudly worn by generations of streetwear fans, topping Times Squares highest billboard, and collaborating with the biggest name brands and artists. Adam Bomb Squad is the leader of the Adam Bomb Squad and is one of the most recognizable faces in fashion today. In the following decade, independent skate brands and rave companies capitalized on stripes across boxy, baggy tops. Bomb Story: Adam has always had such a family-friendly tone, we wanted to subvert our own brand and envision what he"d look like gory. Gross Out Adam was originally illustrated facing to the left, but keeping in uniformity with Bomb Squad, we turned him the opposite way.| Background Story: 
The foundation of The Hundreds is streetwear, and at the foundation of streetwear is the graphic T-shirt. From our beginnings in the Fall of 2003, The Hundreds has relied on the tubular, open-ended cotton of a boxy, blank as our canvas. This is the same T-shirt that Bobby and Ben wore growing up, mixing and matching them 3 for $10 at the local swap meets. The independent skate brands of the 1990s, the streetwear brands of the early 2000s, all co-signed the same cut. Even when the clothing industry chased ringspun apparel or fashion silhouettes, The Hundreds held to the inspirational baseline. Our solid backgrounds are hues from the original swatch card that we built the brand off of.
