Kris Graves Projects

What Came True (2022) by Kris Graves is the second photobook to be released by KGP NFT. To view the photobook in the native KGP NFT viewing app, visit https://kgpnft.com and connect your wallet. What Came True (2002 - 2022) covers seven distinct projects spanning the first two decades of Kris Graves photographic career. Using a mix of conceptual and documentary practices, Graves photographs the subtleties of societal power and its impact on the built environment. He explores how capitalism and power have shaped countries -- and how that can be seen and experienced in everyday life. Graves photographs to preserve memory. One of the included projects is the second edition of Graves first monograph Permanence, while the remaining six have never been published. 
Each NFT book will come with four of the seven projects. All NFT books will include Permanence, while the three remaining projects will be minted at random.

An NFT from the AS10k+ Project, launched to bring the historical archive of August Sander to the Digital World. Each NFT represents ownership of the physical contact print made by Gerd Sander in 1988/89 and depicted by the image as well as access to the August Sander Research Database where the historical legacy of the Sander Family Estate will become publicly available for research. Ownership of the physical contact sheet is determined by the wallet in which the NFT is owned, regardless of wether the contact print has been redeemed or not.

On 7/17/12 @ 9:32am I shot my 1st newsstand near 6th Ave & 46th St. Drawn in by the vibrant colors & organized product placement, this series began its journey providing an instant time stamp via magazine covers and headlines.  All photographs were shot on the iPhone 4s - 11promax. Cities included: New York, Jersey City, Los Angeles, Jersey City, London, Paris, Barcelona, Lima, Cusco, Punta Arenas, Venice, Milan, Rome, Naples, Pozzuoli, Jerusalem, Dar Es Salaam, Tokyo, Kamakura, Cairo, & Marrakesh.
