To me this quote is the most inspirational. Living in the past and in the future can be such a hard thing to do. Stress is created this way. What we could have done or what we have to do. Instead of living in the present and being grateful for the time we have.

Paying homage to the projects and 1/1 artists that inspired me throughout 2022 in this action-packed class photo.

In a year where it seemed that we were all struggling to survive in a difficult market, I wanted to create something that would serve as a reminder of the passion and drive that brought us all here. This piece is a celebration of the enduring power of art to uplift and inspire us, even in the darkest of times. 

The best way I can show love and say thank you is through my art. Happy 2023.

"Post Tenebras Lux" is a Latin phrase meaning "Light After Darkness."  This piece portrays the dual nature of humanity, expressing both the sensual side of us as people, and also the deeply spiritual side. The elements speak meaning to us, such as the 13th Century plague mask the model wears, hiding a part of herself from us, the viewers.
