"Drawn Apart" explores the concept of self-avoiding flow fields, where lines navigate a mesmerizing dance, perpetually avoiding collision with each other to remain apart but also being intricately connected and drawn back together, forming a tapestry of interwoven paths. An elegance arises when lines are compelled away from one another yet forever yearn to be together.

Take Aim

In Take Aim, the basic concept is obfuscation of a familiar image with another. In this case we obfuscate shaped bands with a grid or partial grid. The bands resemble targets, with the grid conversely resembling those things in life which stop us from achieving our goals. Although initially it appears that not achieving ones target should be seen as a negative, in many ways I see this as a positive piece. I have learned that events which get in the way of our goals are often the very things that make life so rewarding.

The Maze

The Maze is a fully in-chain generative art project that depicts a maze utilising Cubism style to represent a spatial concept into the two-dimensional canvas using different points of view. The different shapes and angles can create a sense of distress or a peaceful feeling, which speaks to the journey we all make throughout our lives.

It Was Always The Eyes is a series conveying the message of silent understanding. When you meet a person whos been through a lot, I think quite often you can see the sentiment of their past in their eyes. Most of us protect ourselves by wearing a mask (some do so more strongly than others), but the eyes of a person barely ever deceive. It Was Always The Eyes, strips away that mask and focuses fully on just the eyes. Even in a deceptively simple art piece, the result is quite powerful. Somehow allowing a lot of emotions to come crashing through.
