Each artwork is a surreal food portrait and incorporates elements of exaggeration, hyperbolicity, excess, and superabundance - distinctive qualities of the grotesque style.
These extraordinary beings - part human and part food - illustrate the complex relationship we share with our meals.
They demonstrate that "WE ARE WHAT WE EAT" and that food choices can take us down unanticipated paths; they might blur the distinction between grotesqueness and beauty.
The audience is invited to consider the nature of existence as components forming perceptions of reality.
