Adeline was born the daughter of a blacksmith in the small town of Two Rivers. She was always a strong and independent child, preferring to play with the boys instead of sitting at home with the girls. When she was old enough, she apprenticed under her father and quickly became his best worker. When she was sixteen, raiders from a neighboring kingdom attacked her town. Adeline fought bravely against them, using her smithing skills to create weapons for her fellow villagers. In the end, they were victorious, but at great cost. Almost half the town had been killed, including Adeline"s parents. Vowing to avenge them, Adeline set out to learn everything she could about fighting. She trained with the best warriors in the land and quickly became one of the most skilled fighters around. When she was twenty-one, she led a group of villagers back to her hometown to take on the raiders once again. This time they were prepared andAdeline Lafontaine emerged victorious.  since then, she has been hailed as a hero and has dedicated her life to protecting those who cannot protect themselves. She is now one of the most respected paladins in all the land.
