Each Mayordinal is a 1/1 pixel art created by an AI artist using Mid Journey. Holders of Mayordinal get to choose their 1/1 art in the discord during the Ordinal deployment process.

Please Note: Deploying to Ordinal is a slow process and time-to-mint depends on demand of Mayordinal members. FCFS. 

This is a fun community project created by community members of Nifty Portal. There is no intended roadmap or future utility other than creating the Mayordinals community and deploying the NFTs as Bitcoin Ordinals when members request a burn-for-Ordinal.

This work celebrates those delightful intersections of intuition with technical precision of generative art. 

Interestingly, the tumultuous events in Ukraine played a pivotal role in guiding me back to the arts. Generative art became that voice, a medium where I could channel my research, discoveries, and inspirations.

There's something interesting about some of the buildings throughout China and here in Beijing, especially. They have some of the craziest and most interesting architecture in the world, and the vast majority of it comes from Western architects. The Chinese educational system has lacked an emphasis (in the past) on the creative arts, so there was a dearth of innovative architects for many generations. But some city planners decided to make statements by bringing in Western architects that were really able to experiment.

A number of years ago I took a lot of flack from the photography community when I moved to a new technology. A "mirrorless" camera. It was small, not particularly expensive and was clearly the future but the old guard were dead set against it. Nothing new for me there, they hated my HDR images too. 

Here's a photo I took while in China when in the middle of my Sony experimentation with their first, or one of their first, mirrorless NEX cameras. We went to an older area in the middle of Beihai to see this ancient scene, like time had stopped hundreds of years ago... 

Oh, and how did my prediction work out... I'm still using mirrorless and all the manufacturers have now followed Sony with their pro cameras all being mirrorless too. 

Now, let's talk about how mobile phones are going to replace pro cameras.... ;)
