The collection is a collaboration between the artist & AI experimenting with the balance of figurative & abstraction. Each work is unique and is slightly more figurative, abstract, or a balance of both.

In spite of the terrible challenges that we are bound to endure, we want to embrace our creative energy and the joy to share it.

"Landscape with Carbon Capture is a critique of my own environmental consciousness as an artist working with technology around natural themes. Although I do not know any solution, although I am helpless just like you, I want to fight with what Ive got. I want to acknowledge the great hypocrisy of our times. Carbon emissions are here to stay; they'll stain my canvas, no matter how green the colours on my palette."

Verse Works

By placing our trust in any of the "future techs" to solve todays environmental problems, we run the risk of postponing the actions that mattered. Carbon capture is one of those technologies weve engaged in to give us an impression of action; perhaps, unconsciously, in order to cover up our anguish, our helplessness or our guilt. 

Yet we need to keep moving forward. Art has this kind of energy, charismatic and unifying. If I believe little in technology to save humanity, I keep hope in humanity, in its conscience, in the universality of its love. If only one power is given to artists, it is that of being able to touch, sometimes, the hearts of men.

Fragments of an Infinite Field by Monica Rizzolli

Fragments of an infinite field is a compositional system in which an idealized plant species is generated and arranged in a potentially infinite field of foliage. The main environmental parameter of the composition is the determination of a season of the year. The season determines the landscapes colors and defines specific phenomena for each of them, such as rain in summer, snow in winter, petals falling in autumn, and pollen in spring. The flower has several possible variables, which can be macro aspects, affecting the entire population of the species, or micro, affecting each individual of the species differently. For example, the number of petals can be equal in all individuals or not. The number of filaments and other structures of the flower can undergo minor deviations, generating small mutations. The confusion between the figure (plant) and the background (earth, sky, other natural elements) is fascinating from a compositional point of view. The background colors are, most of the time, colors present in the figures, often breaking the boundary between them and, therefore, generating chromatic masses. In this project I also intend to research the following question: How to create parameters that resemble a living organism"s growth? In this sense, the project approaches digital morphogenesis and the development of procedural organisms.

"Caminos" es la relacin del trabajo de artista con el uso de colores y geometra a travs de los los patrones, situaciones, personas y objetos en los mercados, las calles, los edificios, los colores y dems elementos que consituyen la ciudad. Esta obra es un tributo a esa cultura, similar a una ciudad que se va creando mediante capas, dando como resultado un caos formado a partir del color, de diversas geometras y ms elementos que van cambiando a travs del tiempo.

La composicicin final de este proyecto es conformada por 5 capas que van creandose con el paso de los segundos dentro de la obra. Con las teclas 1 - 5 puedes interactuar con cada capa que va generando la composicin final dando la posibilidad al usuario de tener 5 piezas dentro de una obra, pero sobre todo generar una experiencia que le permita tomarse el tiempo necesario para explorar, encontrar, disfrutar distintos patrones y elementos dentro de cada capa y dentro de la composicin final. Asi como explorar la ciudad, sus distintos espacios, situaciones y cambios con el paso de los aos.
