Enforcement is a play on constraints. It treats pixels on the screen as particles in a system. Constraining them to certain types of movement, whether that would reflect physics or something more abstract.

Hotel Stories N323


The girl in Room 323 is running from inhibitions. She wants to do everything she was forbidden to do as a child.
You won"t find out her name, her biography, any personal information. This is her only chance to be herself. No one will know what city she is from, what past has stuck to her soul. 

This work is from my "Hotel Stories" series.
It is a long way of exploring the anonymous beauty of different guests in different hotels.


Truth

With their collaboration Cuneiform, Presstube and bzor daydreamed about language as a natural secretion of intelligence an extrusion of information squirting through the universal aperture of lived experience. They imagined this intelligence as something alive, something that grows from us rather than something invented by us. To make this piece, the two artists looked towards the masters of various types of language for inspiration from Beethovens labored-over manuscripts to Sumerian clay tablets, Cy Twomblys emotionally charged marks, Wolframs automata fever dream, ocellated lizard skin and octopus chromatophores. Each of these languages is an equal embodiment of their own truth, and a codification of what we all share.

David Sevens Dactylogram emerges from the romantic ambition to embody the intricate essence of nature. In our relentless pursuit of equilibrium, beauty, and enlightenment, nature represents the idyllic state of these qualities. Nature silently catalyzes the mind, leading us toward moments of profound reflection, realization, and the occasional reset required to reach a state of harmony.
Dactylogram is a lens focusing on these very moments, capturing them as if an omnipresent camera gracefully traverses the vast expanses of our universe from cosmos to microcosm to inner cosmos. Through a mesmerizing interplay of perspectives, textures, and the harmonious unification of elements, it gently beckons us to recognize a fundamental truth: the intricate interconnectedness of all aspects of nature, including ourselves. 
It can be said that the deepest truth lies enshrined in the objective, constant forces that sculpt the universe. Unswayed by bias, immune to denial, they exist in a state of deterministic elegance that remains under influence from the chaotic dance of cosmic happenstance. It is precisely within the contradictions of this paradigm that we find the true essence of beauty and a poignant reminder of the uncontrollable balance of existence the truth of nature. Dactylogram is simply a reminder of this truth, capturing a fleeting moment whose humble truth is proven by its creation just as profound as the most enduring natural phenomena, and a testament to the enigmatic allure of gazing deep into the cosmos, in whichever direction it might be.

Tyler Boswells Metamosaic delves into the concept of relativity, emphasizing how our understanding of objects hinges upon their relationships with other elements whether through neighboring units, contrasting scale references, or familiar counterparts. The interplay of comparisons like these provides a comforting comprehension of a entitys essence, even while it may appear functionally indecipherable.
Metamosaic specifically takes inspiration from the widespread use of squares in breaking down spatial contexts, where the use of blocks, pixels, and varying units of measurement adeptly mediate discrepancies between scales and contents. Whether recalling human-made divisions of land, digital screens, cartography, or tilework, this series celebrates the precision of the grid and the hidden complexity of underlying detail it can contain. It suggests an uncharted world within each composition, one thats a minuscule yet indispensable fragment of something vast and incomprehensible. Patterns may lurk within every piece, even as their origins seem random and boundless. At its essence, this is an abstracted exploration of contrasting units whose randomness is accentuated so far that they ultimately highlight the profound similarity and unity that transcends vastly differing scales.

Metamosaic #26

The growth brings evidence of its past, with each moment conveying its one present state within the context of where it has come from. The trajectory feeding each of these moments creates a destination for what comes next, mixing experience and myriad imperceptible influences to determine its next step. With Filum, Ella Hoeppner looks at how even the simplest of origins can yield the growth of immense organic complexities, and reveals how those creations can maintain an intrinsic cohesion in the evidence of their own experience. 
This generative series uses a force-directed graph layout technique, where a collection of particles are all networked together by natural counterbalancing forces of push and pull. These pieces show the paths that the particles take as they move from their geometric starting positions to a configuration thats more true to the interconnected forces they all contain.

Charlotte Danns Vitreous draws mysterious scenes of celestial arrangements and atomic bonds. Inspired by the artists fused glass practice, the background is layered with amorphous transparent forms that distort and magnify the art underneath, highlighting the abstract networks and connections that blur together upon first sight. In isolation, glass as a material is simple and transparent, but when used as a lens its most magical and unique property is revealed: the warping of perception. The new realities these distortions create are no less authentic than those absent of their effect validating their alternate perspectives as an expansion of how we see our inner truth.

PRIMAL delves into the core of human nature, drawing inspiration from the symbols, landscapes, tribes, and experiences that have shaped our collective history  offering a contemporary visual interpretation of the origins of these fundamental elements.

This generative series finds inspiration in the earliest forms of communication and artistic expression, mirroring the ineffable awareness of our world that first set our species apart, and remains at the core of our reality today. The works hark back to the instinctual beginnings of visual art, from the hand markings on cave walls to the rudimentary creative objects of ancient cultures. These seemingly abstract expressions represent the indelible spark of our early consciousness, bridging the gap between times and places, and revealing our true nature.

The works in PRIMAL translate the raw, profound, brutal, yet pure evolutionary symbols of anthropological history into gestural markings, endless shapes, vibrant bursts of vitality, and celebrations of our cultural fabric, woven since time immemorial. With a visual language that intimately connects with the origins of our existence, this series embodies the shared tribal roots of humanity. It encapsulates the primal yearning to connect, to belong, and, above all, to experience the essence of being human.

Quasi Dragon Studies by Harvey Rayner

Composites are artworks created using the "Composite Builder.

Two distinct approaches can be taken when creating composites. The first approach is driven by pure creativity, enabling collectors to freely experiment. Alternatively, collectors can adhere to strict joining rules, which, when achieved, can transform the composition into what is referred to as *Black Dragons*.

At its core, the project revolves around fostering a sense of co-creation and inviting collectors to feel like an integral part of the creative process.

Throughout his journey, Harvey has been heavily influenced by mathematics and geometry, which have gradually become the foundation for the co-creative process. The motives behind incorporating dragon imagery and Eastern aesthetics can be traced back to Harvey"s profound encounters with Buddhism and its impact on his artistic inspiration.
