GrailersDAO is a community of creators, curators, and collectors of some of the most sought-after digital art. Our objective is to support generative artists and the expanding generative art ecosystem including through our periodic curated art releases.

GrailersDAO invites established and emerging generative artists to join the DAO. Artist DAO members get access to a private Discord channel to connect with other artists along with the opportunity to participate and contribute with the broader Grailers community.

Atlas is a collection of interactive abstract kinetic paintings illustrating the paradoxical unity of living creatures. Beneath a dynamic but integrated whole, competing cells bubble in disquiet. As perhaps we all do.

Colour is used to represent the cellular dynamics, each piece evolving under its own laws.  Cells are rendered in various palettes and several shapes  from round to square, luminous, and Escher-like. Zooming in you can see the wild nature of individual elements.

Do I contradict myself? Very well then, I contradict myself. I am large; I contain multitudes.

It evokes the iconic color palettes associated with beloved heroes & stories, while paying homage to pop art legends like Lichtenstein and Warhol. Originating in Scotland as ""tartan,"" we now call this pattern of crisscrossed lines ""Plaid."" Growing up in Southern California during the '80s and '90s, plaid beach volleyball shorts were always in our purview, thanks to labels like Mossimo and Stssy. When we elevated to making cut-n-sew apparel like button-ups in the early 2000s, plaids made their way into our language as a nod to both the surf culture of the West Coast and Polo's influence on the East. In fact, every plaid speaks to a different subculture. Buffalo plaids were woven into the early New York hip-hop lumberjacks. Shadow plaids on swap meet Pendletons. And The Hundreds plaids, for all.
