Noise is a series of 175 unique 3d animations each paired with original music, created by Pat Dimitri.Noise is the intersection of chaos and order. It explores the relationship between space and the lack thereof. It represents our best attempts to maneuver the world by understanding the relationship of the things we can control, with the things we cannot.

Noise exists to help block out the noise. Whether it be for 20 seconds or 20 years.

Different Way

Different Way is a brand new track that I recorded specifically for my first Sound.xyz release and was performed, arranged, and mixed by myself and mastered by Genzo Rubin. It will also, subsequently, be the first track that I upload to DSPs under the Weinbagz moniker. I started my journey as a full time producer and my journey into web3 at roughly the same time in early 2021. I remember back to when I was thinking seriously about what being a producer/songwriter would actually look like. While there was always the possibility of getting attention and eyes on my music, I did not see a path to being able to feed myself from my work. Enter web3. Over the past 2 years, Ive created more financial freedom for myself than I ever could have hoped for with going strictly the traditional route with music.

Ive also been trying to figure out how to start integrating a web2 presence alongside my presence in web3, because I do believe in my music and I know that distribution is very limited when looking at web3 and NFTs. So, when Im referring to a Different Way, or finding Our Own Way, this is the dynamic Im referencing. Im always looking for the intersection of music, tech, and audience. So merging my Sound genesis along with my Spotify genesis only made sense.

To further marry these two worlds, I will also be including the name of the Golden Egg winner in the track title when uploading to DSPs (unless they express not to be included). I figure its another way to take the fans on the journey with me and feature the true supporters.

Different Way #44

Sub-Liminal examines liminal space through the use of AI. A bridge between reality and the dreamworld aids to give us a glimpse of liminal spaces of our dreams. Liminal spaces that may give us glimpses of the surreal, the unnerving, and even serenity depending on the dreamer.  AI is used to transform fantastical descriptions into images that occupy a liminal space between the real and the imaginary. We dream of strange rooms, scenes and dwellings that could not possibly exist. Sub-Liminal gives us snapshots, hopefully satisfying the need to take another glimpse of a past dream. Sub-Liminal interrogates the notion of the liminal in relation to the virtual and the imaginary, and highlights the potential for AI-generated art to push the boundaries of traditional art forms. Exploring liminal space through AI lets us explore and engage with the boundaries between the real and the imaginary and the known and the unknown.

AI Art is Not Art is a collection of 500 pieces of AI-Collaborative art by Claire Silver. Each piece combines multiple art movements into a unique aesthetic. Following the same conceptual thread, it was created using a mixture of accessible AI tools: Artbreeder, Prosepainter, Collage by Studio Morphogen, Midjourney, Diffusion, StabilityAI, and Dalle2, as well as handpainting and digitally collaging where needed for cohesion.

AI-Collaborative art is a budding movement, faced with the same criticisms most new art movements experience--namely, that it isn't art at all, requires no effort or skill, and has no artistic or concrete value. This collection challenges that idea by building on breadth of art history in ways that could only happen with the collaboration of AI, taking care to include art movements that were dismissed initially by the broader art world, and by using a combination of only accessible, no-code tools to create the work. Each work is a single page in a new, transformative chapter in the book of Art History.

In early 2021 I regained control over my publishing from Universal Music, created my first blockchain music project, and never looked back. 

The nearly 2 decades prior to this pivot were a long, strange trip through creative innovation that began when I won the inaugural YouTube Award for Best Music Video for my song Say Its Possible. I went on to release my first album with Universal Music Publishing and Island Records followed by a string of independent releases, and toured for the majority of the next decade, playing everywhere from Wembley Stadium and historic opera houses across Italy to smokey pubs and peoples living rooms. It was a wild ride to say the least. 

I struggled to make ends meet, in spite of licensing dozens of songs to film and television and touring all over the US and Europe. I tried just about every crowd funding platform, including Pledge Music, Indiegogo and Patreon. The concept of turning your biggest fans into your marketing team felt inherently flawed without any real incentive for listeners to spend their valuable time promoting my music. 

And then, in 2020, I discovered the nascent tools of web3 and was filled with a renewed sense of hope  the framework was finally in place to create a mutually beneficial relationship between artist and fan. 

In the process of creating my own audiovisual NFT projects, I discovered a passion for guiding and advising at all levels of interest and experience, from the web3 curious to blockchain natives, creatives to executives. 

I became an advisor to Async Art and led Community, Marketing, and Strategic Partnerships for Authentic Artists" WVRPS by WarpSound which remains the number one music collection on OpenSea since its launch in January 2021. I helped launch Async Arts Blueprints tool with collections by top crypto artists XCOPY, Coldie and Alotta Money, as well as generative code artist Kenny Vadens collections with OpenSea, Flamingo DAO, and Quantum Art. I joined XPRIZE as web3 Lead, helping to pioneer groundbreaking use cases for blockchain technology in fundraising and philanthropy. 

And now its time to funnel some of my creative energy back into my own art. 

Get Mine is a reflection on being an artist in the crypto space, a commentary on the late stage capitalist world we inhabit, a reflection on the experience of meeting my own shadow. 

Its a deeply personal song that I hope will resonate with so many of us in this space and I hope you love it.
