Different Way

Different Way is a brand new track that I recorded specifically for my first Sound.xyz release and was performed, arranged, and mixed by myself and mastered by Genzo Rubin. It will also, subsequently, be the first track that I upload to DSPs under the Weinbagz moniker. I started my journey as a full time producer and my journey into web3 at roughly the same time in early 2021. I remember back to when I was thinking seriously about what being a producer/songwriter would actually look like. While there was always the possibility of getting attention and eyes on my music, I did not see a path to being able to feed myself from my work. Enter web3. Over the past 2 years, Ive created more financial freedom for myself than I ever could have hoped for with going strictly the traditional route with music.

Ive also been trying to figure out how to start integrating a web2 presence alongside my presence in web3, because I do believe in my music and I know that distribution is very limited when looking at web3 and NFTs. So, when Im referring to a Different Way, or finding Our Own Way, this is the dynamic Im referencing. Im always looking for the intersection of music, tech, and audience. So merging my Sound genesis along with my Spotify genesis only made sense.

To further marry these two worlds, I will also be including the name of the Golden Egg winner in the track title when uploading to DSPs (unless they express not to be included). I figure its another way to take the fans on the journey with me and feature the true supporters.

While I"ve collaborated via the internet before it was a new challenge to create a cohesive work with no immediate communication or feedback during the creative process, only messages. I think Elcee, Jamee and I made a BANGER! I"m still very new to collaborating with vocalists and rappers so this was a refreshing change for me and I learnt a lot during the process.  Three Oscillators

RISE is the fourth single off of Sessions Vol. 1  Songcamps debut collection of one-off releases. Each Session brings together 3 or more musicians from the Songcamp community and gives them one month to create and finish a song together. Sessions Vol. 1 will feature the first five Sessions, highlighting the incredible collaborative talent of 18 musicians at Songcamp.

ghost was made over a series of discord video calls late last year. Darby and I had been discussing the healing journey, and how someone (or something) can leave a void in your life after they're gone. This echo can't be moved on from until you confront your past. Sonically, wewanted this track to be layered with texture and ambience,and have chords that gave you the feeling of thatemotional tug of war. Clover's speech (the spoken word intro) represents the resolution to this- that you need to make peace with your past in order to move forward and heal.Our goal was to make something that would uplift and inspire people going through similar struggles.

Domino a multidisciplinary artist and web 3 innovator. Focusing on combining his music with original fine art pieces, film, dance, live performance and more -- he aims to bring his audiences into his world, no matter the medium. After performing in most LA venues and throwing his own shows / events for 6 years with the collective AAS, he found web 3 where he continued growing his grass roots. 

Minting his first NFT March 1st of 2021, Domino found instant support and love for his art and music. From there, he continued minting 1 of 1 art pieces and experimenting until he dropped his world building album, Presessence Volume 1. Compromised of twenty one 1 of 1 fine art pieces (all done by Domino), 5 short films, 7 dance films, 7 fine art pieces (paired with songs) done by front running web 3 visual artists, and 1 music video -- all minted as NFT Tokens. After achieving critical acclaim, he went on to collaborate with Rolling Stone Magazine on their first NFT drop ever, performing at the Deadfellaz first ever NFT NYC event, throwing his own shows, selling out the Peppermint Club in LA and many more moments... Domino is now fully focused on the follow up to the album, to continue his world building with Presessence Volume 2 -- Coming soon
