I wanted to select a piece everyone could relate to. For me, the events that took place were a huge hit for everything I had been working for throughout my time as an artist. For the weeks following the events of May, I decided to channel that energy into creating pieces that would remind me to never forget and to the events that occurred as a lesson to play things safe.

For My Collectors by Noealz

One of my earlier photographs was one of the more emotional photos. I remember walking the streets, and next to me was a couple that was fighting. After the fight was over, the man left the woman crying. I"ve always been really shy about taking pictures of people"s faces, but once the women started walking off, I decided to take a photograph. For me, the story of the photograph is quite impactful and one of the reasons I like this picture very much.

Nonbei Yokocho by Noealz.  

"Nonbei Yokocho" is the name of an alley in Tokyo, Japan. The colors created in this photograph come from shooting an infrared camera at night. I wanted to include a few night pieces because not many people are aware of how infrared photography looks like at night. It creates a very cyberpunk type of vibe. I hope people have fun finding all the small details in my photographs.

Korail by Noealz.  

"Korail" is one of my proudest and simplest pieces. Since I was a child, I have always loved trains and train crossings. This photo was taken in Seoul, but the train crossing reminded me of those that you normally see in Japan. I thought the atmosphere was really special and now I am happy to share the same vision with others. The infrared colors add a special touch creating a lofi vibe.
