A huge green mountain. Trees started growing here before people invented fishing. This morning, tectonic plate movements had split the massive slope in two. The second part detached and thousands of tons of rock flew down, destroying most of the island. The water rose so high it seemed to rain as it flowed back into the ocean. There was no one on earth who knew about it, and no one will ever know. This morning a small pin fell out of the pocket of an elderly clothier. The pin stuck to the sole of a politician who was on his way to an MRI. When the machine turned on, the pin spared us another war.
