Empowered Serenity

an artwork that was created during a very turbulent and strange days. It's about struggles and overcoming them. about hard times, that I know will pass. about finding strength in myself and doing all i can to stay strong and continue to grow for my kids and my family. I combined different elements here: manipulated photographs, illustration, animation and antwoman figuere. as women we often take all the resposibility and all the care for everyone upon ourselves. we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves and we sometimes forget not everything should be on us. it's a process to learn that. its a journey to learn that taking care of yourself first is a good thing. this is what this different elements symbolize.

Stregnth

Artwork Destiny is dedicated to the era of 50s. It is Homage to Christian Dior epoch and the birth of the classic. Dior was the first one to put a woman on a pedestal and declare her a work of art. That was the time of incipience of High Fashion. Grace, elegance, femininity and chic graphic poses are a recognizable calling card of of the era of 50s. Impeccable clothing and work of models on the catwalk are a source of inspiration for many artists of different types of art.
In interpreting the familiar image of a French lady, i wanted to emphasize the return to a new sincerity, which she no longer veils behind details. Her gaze, coming from the depths of her soul, is open to the viewers.
In my artwork I added color and antique texture to enhance the dramatic effect of eternity of beauty, emphasizing its monumentality, as if it were carved and immortalized in stone.
Classic is the first style that I started working with at the beginning of my career, which is still basic.
I do believe that classic is eternal trend, which is why it is one of the sought-after and loved by all artists in the world.

Title: Starry Night

Spent many days waiting for the perfect conditions to align, the goal was to capture northern lights behind that mountain, which did happen, however it took me many hours waiting for the lights standing in a partially frozen lake at -10C temperatures. 

While waiting for the lights I captured this shot, and it ended up being my favorite shot of the whole trip, even more than the one with the Aurora. This taught me a lesson: the process sometimes has more beauty and it"s more meaningful than the final goal.

Never forget to enjoy the process whatever the outcome is.
