*"Lope"* is Jenni Pasanen"s first long-form generative AI collection and is a study of humans as emotional animals. *"Lope"* invites us to contemplate the interplay between the rational and the emotional, the programmed and the spontaneous.

This collection is a metaphor for a lope"s smooth and effortless stride in the physical world and the fluidity and gracefulness sought by AI and human imagination. While AI absences a natural emotional component due to its programming and data inputs, and human imagination is constrained by individual experiences and cognitive abilities, the "Lope" series mean to invite the audience to free exploration and creative expression, merging human & machine skill.  
In this context, *"lope"* is a powerful symbol of transcending existing boundaries and embracing curiosity, unlocking new possibilities for the artist herself. Departing from her customary practice of creating digital drawings using Artbreeder, AI, and Photoshop, Jenni embarks on a new chapter characterized by the pursuit of more surprise through an AI system beyond her ordinary control. By embracing the concept of "Lope," we are encouraged to break free from constraints, cultivate open-mindedness, and embrace the rhythmic patterns of creative thought. This approach allows for the convergence of AI and human imagination.

Confecta

Confecta is a subtle visual game, played on a 4 x 4 grid of dots, that celebrates the pleasure of color.

It explores variations of simple forms and unique color combinations within the tight formal constraints of Contecta"s system.

The series was created in 2022 using a hybrid of generative and procedural processes by Nick Kuder, an Associate Professor of art, graphic designer, and visual artist.

The collection consists of 100 unique works. Each piece is named in honor of an artist, designer, or scientist who contributed to the study of color through their work  including some who were directly significant in helping shape Kuder"s own development as an artist and designer.

Crash is a deeply personal project, stretching back to my childhood being raised in a family of mechanics, surrounded by car parts and junked vehicles. Draxlers Service still exists as an auto body in central Wisconsin where my father grew up.
In addition, my mother experienced two significant car crashes during my childhood, she was nearly paralyzed by the first, her life was ended by the second. I dont bring that up to be morbid, but because I find more beauty in a crashed vehicle than a brand-new one. I am helplessly drawn to scenes of twisted metal.
These outputs have all of that encapsulated within them: beauty, mystery, intrigue, violence, and unpredictability.

This is a collection by Itonk Studio, inspired by an architectural term called Bton Brut, meaning raw concrete. It refers to the aesthetic of unfinished concrete after being removed from formwork. This is an important term in the architectural world -  the appearance of Bton Brut was a pinnacle of modernism. Subsequently, the aesthetic of Bton Brut led to the style of brutalism. 

This is the base of Itonk Studios new body of work. The drawings are exploring the volumes, perspectives, depths and shadows found in architecture, combining them with Bton Brut-typical roughness, rawness and washed-out colours.
