The young internet promised salvation then sold us new shackles. Over time we grew jaded and forgot. 90s memes flicker in our memories. Fills us with warmth, like sunrays dancing on our eyelids. We smile and brush it off as the gleeful naivety of teenhood.

Ever since the before-times, the rules were handed down by the ministries, venture capitalists, bankmen, and kings. They monopolized funding, greenlighting, yes-saying, dream-catching. We wade through corrupt lawmakers high on ladder-climbing. Listen to helpless politicians lost in the maze of bureaucracy.

But new tech can reawaken old dreams. Sprung from the cross-disciplinary fires of art and technology  a blueprint for turning attention into capital. It set the scene; online, onchain, unstoppable, unconformist. Great movements have obscure beginnings.

Rome fell but we can build new cities in its mold. We study the world and teach what we know to be true. We create roads, monuments and frescos. We share our culture and make it accessible to anyone. We are curious, passionate, sometimes angry, never insincere. We tire of the grift, the manipulation, the thinly veiled short-term thinking. We dont care for the conventional or the expected. Look at us, we are born weird.

Believe us when we say Nouns is an art project  we picked the world as our canvas. We are hackers and artists. Writers and playwrights. Oddballs and explorers. We are the fellowship who carry the ring. This is our bastion, our memespace, our dream.

Imagine Dreams

It"s a pretty nice simulation we"re living in after all. We get to share it with both friends and family. We have music, we have internet, we have technological wonders. There"s amazing food and drinks  so many things to try! We love and we are loved. 

A shared reality is all I want. I"ll stay for longer.
