Saadari: When the City of the Moon was destroyed, the female legionaries of Trib became cursed with an unquenchable thirst for blood and sentenced to walk the planet forever in eternal pain. Having long forgotten their human pasts, the Saadari now willingly participate in the games attempting to satisfy their thirst, or find final peace. Kill or be killed, it"s a win/win for them. Their bones and fangs are specially sought after by the Osteomancer to create pieces of armor that can be enchanted with magical properties.

Karkadon: The southern savannahs of Massina are home to the proud and strong tribes of the Karkadon. Ascension through combat is the highest honor that any of them can aspire to, and the largest of their children begin their pilgrimage towards the capital as soon as they come of age. The first rows of the arena are usually empty whenever a Karkadon is fighting, as their charge is so powerful that many gallery members have perished in the process.

Vitra: Sharing the western forests with the Fenrir, the Vitra saw the devastation of the City of the Moon as a dire warning to what would happen to their beautiful home if they did not keep a close eye on the plots and plans of the other races. Highly spiritual, their training allows them to easily connect with their Essence, making them natural priests and terrifying opponents in the arena. It is customary for the eldest female Vitra to choose a house and serve as a priest for at least twenty years.

Keymaster: The Celestials known as Keymasters and Gatekeepers are keepers of secrets: the knowledge of all existences, future, past and present. But they do not always see eye to eye. The Keymasters vowed to remain uninvolved, even as demons spilled out of Hell and ransacked Massina. Finally they relented and helped the Emperor to save the world, but in so doing, were cast out of Heaven. Now they live among mortals. It is said that whoever stares into their forehead will see their best possible life, something that has been known to drive even the wisest of priests insane.
