The world of Web-3 has been taken over by a criminal organization called the Bear Market. They have been in power for several years and are trying to do everything they can to stay in power and rule the world. But 12 collectors get in their way, which very much prevent them from ruling the world of Web-3. These 12 collectors still support the artists and believe that together they will stage a coup and their organization called Bull Market will come to power.
The organization hires a hunter to catch the collectors dead or alive. There is a reward for each collector, an amount equal to the number of NFTs they have collected on the ETH blockchain.

In the year 2150, in Shibuya, the cyborg RXZ-II, initially created as a bodyguard, gains consciousness of her own. Roaming the streets, she uses her skills to protect those in need, while confronting questions of identity and morality. Her encounters with a variety of characters shape her view of the world, leading her to discover her humanity through her compassion and empathy, defying expectations of what a machine can be.
 Despite the challenges she faced, RXZ-II found comfort in the connections she formed with the inhabitants of Shibuya, discovering that although she was a cyborg, her capacity for compassion and empathy made her more human than many organic beings. And so, as the bright lights of Shibuya continued to illuminate the city"s nights, RXZ-II stood as a silent guardian, protecting the weak and defying expectations of what a machine could be.

Michael Reeders work has been focused on the general theme of mortality for over five years, so he is a perfect match for The Inevitable: Life, Death, and the After. His ArtDrop for the exhibition, Wisdom Keeper, was originally a sketch for a painting intended for his November 2022 solo show in NYC. That painting shifted in a different direction, so he was able to jump back in and develop the image further. 

 Depicted is an old beat-up vinyl album cover for a faux band called Wisdom Keeper. He wanted to include the roughed-up patina on the album cover to represent age as a literal indicator of the existence of life and death and their relationship. Blending the face and graphic skull represents the finite nature of life and that everyone ultimately has an  expiration date. In addition, the overall proportions and shapes of the piece are entirely derived from Reeders Cyber Bandits PFP format.
