*Wayfinder* is a 2.5d experiment: an infinite extruder that generates an ongoing stack of 2d shapes.
 
The beginning of this project dates back to the involvement of the artists in a visual exploration undertaken for a previously commissioned project. Their task was to envision futuristic languages and signage systems for a science fiction film. This research laid the foundation for this new long-term project, where the artists retained the concept of layering and reimagined it by developing a new and efficient code.

Automatic Messages by Aluan Wang

*Automatic Message* is a painting machine finely tuned by precise algorithms, capturing the spirit of Eastern ink wash painting. Its abstract brushwork, seemingly an unconscious ink splashing style, actually employs a deliberate technique that blurs clarity, merging the vibrancy of life with digital precision. 

This work explores concepts and seeks a balance between tradition and modernity, nature and artifice, a philosophical quest embodied within its structure. The algorithmic control, specifically the iterative use of L_SYSTEM and recursive functions, reflects the artwork's philosophical core - the quest for balance in chaos.

Echoing the artist's other works, *Chaos Series* and *After the Cave*, it juxtaposes chaos with order, organic with inorganic, striving for harmony.
