House of 7 Cards

The sixth card in the series. The card shows a door surrounded by impenetrable smoke. Behind the door, a warm, golden light seems to shine, enveloping the surroundings in a mysterious glow. The number 7 is engraved on the door itself in golden letters, surrounded by intricate patterns and decorations.

Die sechste Karte der Reihe. Die Karte zeigt eine Tr, die von einem undurchdringlichen Rauch umgeben ist. Hinter der Tr scheint ein warmes, goldenes Licht zu leuchten, das die Umgebung in ein geheimnisvolles Glhen taucht. Die Zahl 7 ist auf der Tr selbst in goldenen Buchstaben eingraviert, umgeben von komplizierten Mustern und Verzierungen.

The Magic 7

The seventh and final card shows three men in front of the glasshouse. The facade of the building refracts the light in a miraculous way, creating an almost magical atmosphere. The glasshouse houses a variety of artworks by various artists and marks the end and at the same time the beginning of a long journey for the travelers.



Die siebte und letzte Karte zeigt drei Mnner vor den Glashaus. Die Fassade des Gebudes bricht das Licht in einer wundersamen Weise und versprht eine fast magische Atmosphre. Das Glashaus beherbergt eine Vielzahl an Kunstwerken von verschiedensten Knstlern und markiert fr die Reisenden das Ende und zugleich den Beginn einer langen Reise.

I can still see the headline from the Associated Press now. "Michael Jordan retires at the age of 40 for the third and final time." Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, officially left the court on April 16, 2003. To commemorate the 20-year anniversary, I present a moment captured at one of MJ"s final games as a Washington Wizard, sporting his famous #23 jersey. I was invited to come to one of his last games in D.C. to bring my camera courtside after our request to photograph Michael in a studio was not possible. The game was a win for the Wizards, and MJ"s greatness was still shining all over the court. My Canon F1 and Kodak Tri-X 400 film were pushed to the limit, and the other photographers next to me were curious about me shooting film and not having a 600mm lens. For me, all that mattered was capturing my moment with the GOAT.
