Hey guys its SLOE JACK. Im stoked to be back on Sound to premiere my upcoming track, LOCUST.

"LOCUST" is about courage, strength and bravery in dark circumstances. The lyrics describe the struggles and challenges that must be faced and overcome to achieve personal growth and fulfilment. The metaphor of a locust represents the journey from a hopeless existence to a life of purpose. This track is my personal favourite out of all my upcoming releases.

SLOE JACK

Yo guys my name is SLOE JACK. Im so stoked to be back on Sound to celebrate the arrival of my new track Mine. This track describes being in a relationship where the good moments are few and far between. It has you stuck in a loop that leaves you unfulfilled and bitter. This relationship is destructive and the cycle needs to be broken before the love consumes both of you.

Im really happy with how this track came out. The guitars are super crunchy and vocal flows give it a distinct flavour in my opinion. I had a great time writing this one and I hope you can hear it in my delivery!

Hello! Superflirt here:) I am a 21-year-old indie-pop/rock artist from Summit, New Jersey. Growing up, I played drums and guitar in rock bands and then shifted to a singer-songwriter sound as I started writing and recording my own music. Im currently based in San Diego and have been leaning into a nostalgic, upbeat 80s sound. I love creating music with huge punchy drums, reverberated guitar lines, and layered vocals.

Sober is an anthem for that sober friend at a party. When I wrote this I was so over people acting like I owed them an explanation for why I didnt want to drink. There was a long time that I felt isolated because of this and I wanted to explore that feeling.

This is the most proud I have been of a songs sound quality and writing to date. Im so excited to share it with the world, alongside a music video shot on 65mm film by No Storage Productions. I appreciate those who want to join me on this journey and am especially grateful to be on a platform with so many other talented artists!

Yo guys my name is SLOE JACK! Im stoked to be back on Sound for the release of my third single, Renegade. 

"Renegade" is about being cheated on and the way it throws your mind off course. The memory of that humiliating moment lingers in the back of your head. It rings in your ears and it leaves you exhausted. Your ex thinks that what they did was justified, but youre not having it.

When I wrote this song I wanted it to feel ruthless, nasty and in-your-face. Since the theme comes from a place of hurt and rage I aimed to reflect that as well as I could sonically. 

I would like to thank Sound.xyz for giving me this opportunity. This platform is a serious game-changer for artists of all sizes!
