Flower Sand

Flower Sand is a collection consisting of 100 moving image works. It explores vibrant colours and fluid movements inspired by nature, using AI-generated imagery and motion simulation. Using leading generative AI models, the generated AI flowers are diverse as well as sophisticated. Repurposing them with fluid particles results in generative sculptures. The work depicts the beauty of nature generated by algorithms, representing our connection to the natural world in the age of artificial intelligence. In addition, this work lets the viewer reflect on critical questions in such an age encompassing collective creativity and ownership.

Description: In LUX, Loucas subverts traditional photography teachings and presents a series of images taken of the sun. More concerned with the exploration of tools throughout the process, this work culminates in strikingly bold pieces that are as imposing as the sun itself. Each piece will evolve over the course of 11 years, a reflection of the sun cycles, inviting collectors onto a journey with Loucas that will challenge convention.

LUX is a collection of 176 photographs split into four distinct phases. The sun's eleven-year oscillation is a dynamic unifying factor for all phases. Similar to four movements of a larger composition, each phase is a closed system. The images contained in a phase presaged the others. They cycle across tokens but are restricted to their own set of loops. Still, a few have broken out and remain petrified.

Everyday Odyssey

Everyday Odyssey is a collection of curated image outputs from stupidgiant&#39;s daily sketch practice. stupidgiant has sorted through his vast archive, and selected this tight collection of his favorite everydays that draw particular attention to the most memorable moments along his artistic journey. Amusing experiences, major life events, and defining changes are represented in the collection, which amounts to a contemporary portrait of the artist and his development in today&#39;s Web3 creative culture. In addition to a still image, rendered output, each collectible token comes with a special wireframe view, which showcases the foundational structure of each artwork. Combining the results of diligent practice with imaging tools like Blender and photoshop, the artist&#39;s development of craft takes central focus. Increased complexity and refinement become apparent over time, with the incremental steps in stupidgiant&#39;s evolving style coming into clear view. By exploring the various metadata associated with each token, the collector becomes a co-conspirator in stupidgiant&#39;s ever-changing practice. He invites the viewer to spelunk through all of the microdetails of the collection, unearthing the subtle nuances that distinguish each work.
