Inspired by my nostalgic love of rich worlds constructed in early video games using simple shapes with limited palettes, and the mesmerizing music visualization plugins that emerged in an era when sharing creativity online was a joyous pastime, this artwork reflects the playful media I have enjoyed over the years and aims to contribute more joy to the world.

Nebula was painted in 2018 with acrylics, ink and Ethereum whitepaper on 24"x30" canvas. "Acceptance #0 - Original" NFT was given to the original buyer of the painting. Open edition physical prints were released of this work but later retired September 2019. It cannot be guaranteed that NFTs and physicals will be sold together after initial sale. You will have to contact the current owner with inquiries.

Nebula is part of the Genesis Series. The series consists of my five earliest works that all started as physical paintings that were then tokenized. These include Genesis - 2017, Nebula - 2018, Acceptance - 2018, Filter - 2018, and thankful_for_today - 2018.

Nebula depicts the power and scale of ethereum. Nebula are natural phenomenon whereby new stars are created from a cloud of dust, this parallels the ethereum ecosystem in which decentralized people and entities begin to connect and create applications for the network.

The piece shows a female subject looking at the viewer while the ethereum whitepaper begins to fill the background of the piece. An ethereum shaped nebula is formed and the subjects eye separates and glows to represent the creation of a new star/decentralized application. The foreground slowly disappears to reveal the full nebula which shows the vast ecosystem that has been created.

Tune In was painted in 2019 with acrylics on a 24"x24" wood panel. "Tune In #0 - Original" NFT was given to the original buyer of the painting. 20 limited edition physical prints were released of this work, and purchasers of the prints received the corresponding numbered NFT for free. Tune In depicts a woman gazing confidently with the Ethereum logo painted on her face. She is a citizen of the metaverse and represents the readiness of our ecosystem to go forth and build the future. The metaverse being multifaceted, the piece shows multiple NFT projects in the background. This piece acts as a timestamp for the NFT ecosystem in early 2019 as we see some of the most popular projects of that period: CryptoPunks, Cryptovoxels, CryptoKitties, Chain Breakers, Autoglyphs, Neon District, Plasma Bears, and Decentraland.

This project is an experiment about composability in NFTs. The pieces are generated on mint, using instructions from Autoglyphs together with random characteristics. Autoglyphs were chosen because they're the first and most important generative art project, fully contained on-chain, which allows deeper composability. Two pieces generated from the same generator will not be equal.
The artwork consists of lines that are carefully spread across the canvas. This project is an ode to shapes derived from round-ended lines and complexity from chaos. It has inspiration from microscopic nature and movement.
