Having traveled without sleep to find the nearest totem, Gaeleth placed her crystal onto the ornate pillar and set her hands upon its sides. Something seemed amiss, the day prior she felt as though a great ripple ran through the fabric of reality itself, creating a moment of chaos in the great flow. She had not attuned her senses for quite some time and hoped she was just beginning to feel out of sync. Images flittered through her mind one after the next and she felt a pit in the bottom of her stomach. She watched as a woman used a large and unrefined machine within a buried temple to rip open the fragile paper upon which reality was written, creating a vast disturbance.
