"Turtles all the way down" is a phrase often used to describe an infinite regress of explanations, where each explanation leads to another, and so on. This phrase has its roots in Hindu mythology, where the world is said to rest on the back of a turtle. Joseph Campbell, an American mythologist, used this phrase to illustrate the idea that every mythology  
is a series of nested stories, with each story containing another story within it. In this sense, the phrase "turtles all the way down" reminds us that art is a dynamic and multi-layered process of creation and interpretation that can lead to an ever-expanding universe of  
possibilities.
