Chromatic Aberrations by ElusiveIlusionz

After living somewhere for an extended period of time, its often easy to feel like theres nothing new to experience.  Even the appeal of a country many consider to be paradise, is likely to eventually wear off after a number of years.  By pushing oneself to continually be present and aware of surroundings, even the most mundane situations may yield moments of opportunity.

While roaming the streets of Japan one evening, I discovered some reflective metallic-like sculptures.  It was fascinating to watch the ambient light, reflecting from nearby traffic, be stretched and pulled into wildly warped designs!  Being accustomed to looking at things on a MACRO level, the patterns sparked my imagination into envisioning what could be created with a little help from Lightroom. ...And over the span of a couple of months, these creations gradually began to come to life!  

If you look hard enough, inspiration can be found all around you; The challenge is to keep looking!
