The Black Box Drops

This is the second Black Box of AI holder token, gifted to everyone who has bought the tokens and also told friends about it. 

Each individual piece is an expression of the artist"s ethos and approach to blockchain and art. 

In this one, St. Francis has been glitched slightly to convey his state of intense tranquility and amazement as he becomes aware of how multi-cellular and multi-cognitive the blockchain can be. Through art, we practice a way of seeing deeper. In blockchain, we practice a method for finding what we need to see. 

St. Francis influenced art by encouraging artists to inject pathos into their work. As a result, many of the paintings in his period and after began to convey deeper emotional and spiritual intensity in their use of shadow, color and more highly detailed facial expressions. 

In my art, my interest is to alter what is seen and is already packaged as art, or, to take something that is only experienced as light normally and shift it and layer to create abstract forms. 

What I make is usually a vacating of prior intentions and the creation of a space. What you see, you bring to the form. It is a learning.
