I am no longer certain whether being born into this hellscape is a curse or a gift. The cruelty here has stripped away my very humanity. It has eaten and eroded every dream I have had, every hope, every desire I reached for. I have been left empty and dark. But, unlike the others here I have let my humanity starve, I have not filled my belly with the suffering of others. Now, in this perpetual darkness, my eyes seem to adjust, I sense something now. Beyond the wants of this world, a light exists that I could not see before. It was outshone by bright thoughts of glitter and gold. Without the light of the world, I now sense something beyond my humanity
