Mobile photography has come a long way. On the surface, this photo is pretty basic. It"s not a beautiful sunrise or sunset, it lacks pretty colors, and features no models or highly sought-after destinations.  It"s a random vehicle on a non-descript highway traveling at a high rate of speed. Some might even say it"s out of focus. To me, this photo captures both the frenetic energy of the moment and the technological advances of mobile photography. For a long time, slow shutter/long exposure shots weren"t possible on your phone. As technology improves though, so do the creative opportunities. I snapped this photo from the middle seat of a minivan traveling between productions in Central Ohio and downtown Chicago. I wanted to test the limits of long exposure between moving vehicles - and I was impressed with the results. This photo stands out to me as being worthy of a collection of mobile photography. It allows you to tell your own story; and also hopefully inspire others to push the limits of their mobile creativity. 

Taken with the iPhone 13 Pro Max using the Spectre app for long exposure and then edited in Lightroom Mobile.
