TDC Art-a-Thon

One of Us Zero One of Us is a thought-provoking video artwork that utilizes AI-generated images to create a visually arresting scene of a 1940's mind control laboratory. It features a room filled with people gazing at a screen projecting the image of a transformed Quantum NFT; pulsating rhythmically and hypnotizing the audience. The low transparency pulsating effect that spreads throughout the room represents the waves of control extending beyond the screen and reaching the audience. Quantum was an early experiment that was later contextualized as an NFT.
The tense audio sounds further elevate the viewers' anxiety and convey an undertone of threat as they observe the art piece, transposing them into the audience inside the artwork. The artwork's title, One of Us Zero One of Us, is a blend of the concept of computers communicating in binary code 1's and 0's, as well as the cult mentality of One of Us.
A partner art piece was created and submitted at the same time. A similar artwork called Zero One of Us Zero, which is meant to imply sameness while showing a slight binary code difference in sequential naming. 
The intention of these artworks is to critique the NFT industry, which often relies on hype and deception to drive sales. The repetition of the mind control laboratory in different settings and with different people is meant to symbolize the constant repetition of the NFT projects to convince people of the value of their collections.
