Bakers Notes

Preheat your oven to 375F (190C)  .
  
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.  
  
In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and smooth.  
  
Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.  
  
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.  
  
Fold in the chocolate chips.  
  
Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or ax silicone mat, spacing them about 2 inches apart.  
  
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.  
  
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
