Full solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st, 2017 from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Ive had some surreal experiences shooting photographs over my career, from hanging out on alpine walls in Antarctica to skiing from the summit of Everest, but this was a special, almost transcendental experience. This rare celestial episode seemed to stall time and space for a moment. I will never forget it and thankful I captured the decisive moment when the Sun returned from behind the moon to create the diamond ring effect and allow us to release our breaths again
