Girls Run The Internet

KISS is track number 7 off of my debut album Girls Run The Internet. In the same session that Favorite Hour was recorded with Ry, KISS was also conceptualized. It started from a guitar riff the Ry played. I was super inspired by the guitar to do something that harkened back to my middle school days listening to blink-182, The Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Paramore and other pop/punk bands I decided to take a stab at it. 

The breakdown in the middle of the song is the audio of a vid from a NYE trip up to Maine when we set off $500 worth of fireworks on a frozen lake in a snowstorm at midnight and all almost died when one box tipped over. Good times lol
