Elise was born to a wealthy family of nobility in a small, but influential kingdom. She was always a pious child, and spent much of her time praying at the local cathedral. When she was sixteen, her parents were killed in a raid by a neighboring kingdom. Elise was devastated, but she resolved to continue their work. She became a cleric, and dedicated her life to helping others and bringing peace to her kingdom. Elise is a skilled healer, and has often been called upon to help those who have been injured in battle. She has also used her powers to drive away evil spirits that have plagued her kingdom. On one occasion, she even confronted and defeated a powerful wizard who had been terrorizing the people for years. Elise is respected and admired by all who know her, and she is truly a heroine of her time.
