This gorgeous scene was hand painted on 24x30" Stage Two Stretched Canvas with Oil Paint.  I started by priming the Canvas with Bob Ross Liquid White.  The Cadmium Yellow came first, followed by Indian Yellow, Bright Red, Alizarin Crimson, Prussian Blue, and Midnight Black.  I spent about 45 mins blending the sky alone.  Then came the gorgeous blue tinted clouds. Which was hard to do over a yellow sky without turning green.  There are 5 mountains in this painting. Each a different color.  Huge evergreen trees line the edge of our sapphire blue lake.  As we get closer to the bottom the trees become taller signifying them getting closer to us.  Each tree is highlighted with a different green.  A brown dirt "beach" sits under the trees and the liquid white water line mixes it with the brown beach and blue water.  A few boulders sit above our water line covered in moss.  The right foreground has a gigantic Pine Tree, while the left has a humongous fallen tree that's branches dip into the water.  The bark of the tree is very detailed and Textured. The wood feels like wood...  This painting will go perfectly in any room in any home! Definitely a conversation starter!
