This song is for several things. Its for my girlfriend, my family, and my friends for being there for me when we all got stuck inside; for the feeling of being at shows, looking over to the person next to you and knowing you both feel the same thing; and for the nostalgia of times spent together when youre away.

Im really excited to be an independent artist for the first time since I was 19. Over the past five years, Ive put together a catalog that didnt quite fit in with my major label releases; When Im With You is the first of these. Lately, Ive built a modular synth, and many of the sounds Ive been crafting songs around have come together so much more organically. The newer records feel personal and intimate.

After being a supporter and collector of sound.xyz songs since the beginning, Im stoked to be able to drop this record with them as a series of NFTs. This release will help fund future projects, as well as give the fans a collectible to hold on to. Owning an edition will also provide access to a secret section of the MELVVille Discord.

My official debut EP Shift In Momentum will be released later this year. This is the first single from that project. Sit back, space out, and enjoy.
