One Bitcoin - 2D is commemorative, collaboratively created colorsign pattern, an 18x36 acrylic on canvas which a single use pattern that will not be used for other purposes . This work of art was facilitated by Carol Braddock during a period from May 22nd through June 25th, 2019. The work started in Santa Monica, California. After #cryptobitbus stops in Los Angeles, Buena Park, and Harris Ranch, the pattern completely revealed itself in San Francisco, California at @Bitcoin2019.

The top half of the token shows the front of the canvas. The lower half of the token shows the current state of the reverse of the artwork, as of July 4th, 2019. This is the collaborative effort of 50 artists and two production facilitators, Ann Willmott, from The Rabbit Hole Network, and Nicholas Juntilla, from ReceiptChain.io.

The future use of this pattern, besides its fine art status, it that when scanned, it will reveal the current price of 1 bitcoin. It may reveal the name of a sponsoring institution, but nothing more. A user could consult colorsigns.net or other sources like everipedia.org, to get more information on the work.

Mass acceptance (MA) has been one of the main limitations to bitcoin usage. A simple and graphic non-intrusive way to foster MA is through the repetitive display of this pattern. For instance, versions of it could be manufactured as cloisonn pins or vinyl stickers, to name a few. The more you know about bitcoins price, the better you will feel about it.

This token will be followed up with another issue with a 3D trade-able coin upon completion and processing of the fine art.
