Storm Surfing

One thing I love to do especially in the summer time is chase storms. There is something about seeing the beauty nature offers us and the power she can create.

This particular storm I was tracking for about a day, on the radar it would appear and disappear so I wasn't sure if anything was going to happen that day.  
This day I decided to go to the Toronto Islands and see what would happen, as I walked around taking random photos I started to get alerts on my phone for incoming storm lines.  
I set up my camera, the winds picked up and out in the distance I could see this monster of a shelf coming my way.  
I was really nervous what to expect, the winds were picking up fast, the thunder started and I could see flashes of what to look like lightning.

After grabbing some shots I took cover under a island restaurant roof and watched nature do her thing.
