**The new digital village**  
Both Colored carp (created by [Okazz](https://twitter.com/okazz_)) and Generative patterns "NISHIKIGOI" (created by [raf](https://twitter.com/raf___gallery)) serve as digital certificates of residence for Yamakoshi village. Yamakoshi will restart as a globally open and unexplored area by sharing its unique culture with the world. We really hope that you join us and be part of our community!

Nishikigoi

Artwork that is inspired by beautiful Nishikigoi, a traditional fish in Japan that Yamakoshi is proud to have in the world. The motif is the beautiful Nishikigoi and the four seasons of the rich nature of the village. There are over 30 different types of Nishikigoi as they're based on actual Nishikigoi that exists. The backgrounds of the art represent the four seasons and are composed of Japanese flowers that symbolize each season along with the color palette. The overall art direction is inspired by Japanese art forms of manga and Ukiyoe. The entire artwork is generative art that means everything is programmatically generated and every output is unique.
