Shannon hails from the great kingdom of, which has been at war for as long as anyone can remember. Born into a poor family with few prospects, Shannon had to grow up quickly and learn how to fight and survive in a hostile world. She joined the local militia at the age of 16 and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the most skilled and dangerous fighters in the kingdom. During one particularly fierce battle, Shannon showed incredible courage and skill in defending her comrades from a group of marauding enemies. Her bravery earned her the respect of her fellow soldiers and she was soon promoted to the position of Sentinel - a elite group of warriors who protect the kingdom from its enemies.
