Hope & Despair is embodied in this child unbothered by the turmoil that surrounds. Hope of unlimited potential inside this child, that it may be the key to salvation of this world, that it will bring great pride to the name it carries. Despair that it is born into a rapidly inhospitable world that may not be worth living for. The fears that I may unfairly lay upon it, or not be enough for the child. But within the chaos, one can build a world of hope surrounded with loving support, and maybe that is enough.
