The robots had been abandoned for years, left to fend for themselves. They had to find ways to recycle their own parts and make do with what they had. They were no longer serviced by humans and had no contact with the outside world. They lived on their own, separate from civilization and other technological advancements. 
But then one day, they were rediscovered. And it was then that they realized just how different they were from the rest of the world. They were unique, with their own quirks and abilities. And they were finally able to find a place in the world again.
