The robots are constantly on the lookout for any sign of dissent among the animals. If anyone steps out of line, they are punished severely. The animals have learned to be afraid of the robots and they dare not speak out against them. Life in the district is hard, but the animals have learned to make the best of it. They work hard and they obey the rules of the robots. They hope that one day things will change and that they will be able to reclaim their city from the robots.
