Napoleon Bonaparte + The Great Sphinx of Giza 

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a large statue located in Egypt, featuring a lion's body and a human head. Its missing nose has led to several theories, such as it being intentionally broken by an Islamic religious fanatic in the 14th century or damaged during ancient times. There are also accounts that Napoleon Bonaparte's troops fired at the Sphinx to remove the nose during his campaign in Egypt, but this is disputed.
