Twilight Prelude by Teresa Austin. Teresa is a painter originally from San Diego. She focuses on gesso and acrylic paint and uses layering in her work and exploring the different faces of women. I am particularly intrigued by women and how they are perceived by the dictates of society. I love layering with gesso and acrylics. Over and over and over again. I prefer the raw and unfinished aesthetic, as I believe that this is the playland of the Soul. I have no expectations when I create. This is pure exploration.
